# Empatica

Empatica Inc. is an MIT Media Lab spinoff company founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts, operating in Healthcare and providing AI-enabled tools to advance forecasting, monitoring, research, and treatment. Empatica develops FDA-cleared medical wearables, EmbracePlus and EmbraceMini, and an AI-powered Health Monitoring Platform for continuous, remote physiological data collection, serving clinical researchers, pharmaceutical companies, CROs, clinicians, and patients.

Empatica's products hold medical device clearances and certifications across major global regulatory frameworks.. More than half of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies use Empatica's platform to monitor treatment impact and develop novel digital biomarkers as digital endpoints.
