How does WellPD work?

WellPD combines the world’s smallest health monitoring device with a companion app to detect your complete set of motor symptoms, dyskinesia, bradykinesia, and tremor, along with sleep and physical activity, and sends medication reminders to help you stay on track. It connects via Bluetooth to an app that turns your data into easy-to-understand daily, weekly, and monthly summaries, showing what makes your symptoms better or worse. This allows you and your caregivers to see patterns that are difficult to recall or describe, better understand the impact of medication and routines, and approach clinical visits better prepared with meaningful, longitudinal data.

How do I buy my subscription?

WellPD works with a wearable device and an active subscription plan. When purchasing the starter pack, you will be adding both the device and a subscription plan to your order. Your subscription can be either monthly or yearly, depending on your preference.

Can I cancel my order or subscription?

If you've already paired the device but wish to cancel you can do it within 30 days of pairing or 45 days after delivery, and you will still receive the full refund of the device price and subscription fee bought.

Important: If you cancel within 30 days of pairing, you must send the device back to Empatica. Once we receive and inspect the returned device, your refund will be issued.

Canceling Your Subscription Only: You can cancel your app subscription in your WellPD account. This action will disable the auto-renewal of your subscription plan at any time. If you cancel in the middle of a billing period, you'll still be able to use the subscription for the remaining month/year, and the subscription will not renew afterward. Please refer to this support article to learn more.

Can I buy and use the WellPD device for other monitoring purposes without getting an app subscription?

The WellPD device is included as part of the WellPD package. It can only be used with the WellPD system as a parkinson’s monitoring device.
