How does EpiMonitor work?
EpiMonitor uses EmbracePlus, the world’s most advanced smartwatch, to continuously monitor your health signals. The EpiMonitor algorithm analyzes this data to spot patterns that might indicate seizures.
If a seizure pattern of more than 20 seconds is detected, the device sends real-time alerts to the EpiMonitor user and their active caregivers via a phone call and SMS. EpiMonitor also offers a detailed Seizure diary, Sleep and Activity tracking, and a report that can be shared with healthcare provider to help users manage their condition.

How do I buy my subscription?
EpiMonitor works with an EmbracePlus and a dedicated active subscription plan. When purchasing the starter pack, you will be adding both your EmbracePlus and a subscription plan to your order. Your subscription can be either monthy or yearly, depending on your preference.
Can I cancel my order or subscription?
If you've already paired the device but wish to cancel you can do it within 30 days of pairing or 45 days after delivery, and you will still receive the full refund of the device price and subscription fee bought
Important: If you cancel within 30 days of pairing, you must send the device back to Empatica. Once we receive and inspect the returned device, your refund will be issued.

Canceling Your Subscription Only: You can cancel your subscription in your EpiMonitor account. This action will disable the auto-renewal of your subscription plan at any time. If you cancel in the middle of a billing period, you'll still be able to use the subscription for the remaining month/year, and the subscription will not renew afterward.
Can I buy and use EmbracePlus for other monitoring purposes without getting an EpiMonitor subscription?
EmbracePlus is included as part of the EpiMonitor package. It can only be used with the EpiMonitor system as a seizure monitoring device.
