How can I make a purchase?

To place an order, we recommend using our online store to buy your hardware and software package for smaller studies, requiring 30 devices or fewer. Volume discounts are available from 5 devices and up and are automatically applied upon checkout. If your study requires a larger number of devices, reach out to our team for a more bespoke solution. Our team will contact you via email as soon as possible. Each bundle includes one EmbracePlus and access to the Care Lab App, Care Portal, and Empatica Cloud for 3 or 5 years.

What are the compatible smartphones? Is it possible to connect more than one EmbracePlus to one companion device?

You can find the list of smartphones compatible with our system on our EmbracePlus Smartphone Compatibility Page . If your Android device is not listed, you can start a connectivity self-test with the Nordic App® to check if the following requirements are met:

How many studies, sites and participant login credentials can I create?

Our Academic & Basic Research plan includes one Care Portal account with a unique professional email address. This allows the creation of 1 Study, 1 Site and unlimited participant login credentials.

How will I access the data collected?

All collected data can be securely and directly downloaded from the Care Portal.

Can I stream real-time data?

EmbracePlus continuously collects data and allows you to view it inside the Care Portal. However, this data is not viewable in real-time. This means you cannot stream data live, but you can still view historical, timestamped data.

Do you provide an SDK?

We do not provide an SDK for academic research purposes.
